Within the sphere of of dance hall revolution lives a movement called vouging. Vouging, which was formed in the eighties in New York by the urban community who used it as a form to express art and who was the top house in the district, is today a vibrant living way of expression in all urban/underground gay communities around the States. Just about everyone from my gay family and friends vouge. These people have perfected or are learning the art to the point where they are contributing to moves and contributing to the development of the style.
Pony of the House of Garcon has been the biggest contributor to the movement. He is the founder of Vouge Revolution and is respected by all for his elegance, flow, and technique in the dance. If you have ever watched Americas Best Dance Group has gotten a glimpse of Pony group (Vouge Revolution). The art is not at all easy to learn and it corresponds all to timing and beats, but more than that it is about refinement, structure, and performance all around.
Vouging comes in different forms of masculine and feminine. The masculine has more defined, stiff structured movements, like time. The feminine has a more fluid movement, like water, and is all about how cunty you can be. Currently from what I know Dance Revolution focuses on the cunty aspect of vouge, but you'll just have to keep up with me to find out more.
I have posted to this page to links/videos to my friends vouging at the club. Enjoy, experience, and welcome to a world unknown to you. If you think its easy to learn, think again.
